Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for mobile applications.
  • Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  • Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure test execution stability.
  • Analyze test results, prepare test reports, and provide quality recommendations.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in software testing with significant exposure to mobile automation.
  • Strong experience with Appium and mobile automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience testing Android and iOS applications.
  • Good understanding of API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and defect management tools.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based mobile testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
  • Relevant QA or automation certifications are an added advantage.
