As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will ensure the quality and reliability of software applications in a CI/CD environment. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, acting as a single point of contact following ITIL principles. Prioritize automation, monitor infrastructure, and provide On-Call support for critical incidents.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality and reliability of software applications in a CI/CD environment.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, offering a combination of Application and DevSupport.
- Act as a single point of contact following ITIL principles.
- Prioritize automation to streamline processes.
- Actively monitor infrastructure capacity to optimize resource utilization and reduce costs.
- Provide On Call support to swiftly address critical incidents, ensuring uninterrupted service.
Requirements
- Practical experience with Linux, and SQL variants (PostGreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).
- Experience in managing microservices using Kubernetes/OpenShift is a must.
- Expertise in creating and managing CI/CD pipeline workflow, namely Jenkins / GitHub Actions.
- Experience in Azure; Entra ID, AKS, SSO.
- Some knowledge of Shell Scripting (Bash), Python.
- Monitoring tools: Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace etc.
- Familiarity with BI reporting tool Cognos/PowerBI.
- Familiarity with XML, basic knowledge of Web Services: REST and JSON.
- DevOps L2 & L
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of programming languages: Java, JavaScript front-end frameworks (Angular, React) is a big plus.
