Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and solve problems in own expertise area via remote or on-site service in any Service category.
- Determine effective Service applications, equipment, and methods to develop, market, or manufacture new Service offerings to respond to customer requirements cost-effectively.
- Provide technical consulting on Service solutions to management and customers.
- Identify new sales opportunities, proactively communicating both with the customer and ABB sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for service growth.
Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience in service activities.
- Experience in coordination engineering teams about design of control logic for energy production systems, DEHC, BMS, boiler, etc.
- Specific knowledge of software applications in power market like Reactive Power Regulation “Sart“, Primary Frequency Power Regulation.
- At least 5 years’ experience in the commissioning phase of the above-mentioned applications and control logic.
- Experience using virtualized systems, covering configuration, operation, and maintenance.
- Excellent product expertise in INFI90, Harmony and S+ Suite technology for Operation, Engineering and Historian.
- Expertise in other ABB automation lines, like AC800F / AC800M, S800 and AC500 suite.
- Excellent knowledge of standard protocols like Profibus Master/Slave, OPC, ModBus, etc.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations applied to power generation facilities.
- Willingness to travel for assignments averaging two weeks in duration, focusing on preventive maintenance or commissioning activities, primarily within Italy.
- Availability for on-call duty (via telephone and remote access or involving on-site intervention).
