As a Sr. Technical Program Manager for the Kindle E-reader team, you will drive the product vision, requirements, and release strategies by collaborating with Product Management, Software Development Engineering, and UX Design. This role involves executing the TPM team’s technical vision and roadmap, developing and tracking project schedules, and working cross-functionally with various teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Product Management, Software Development Engineering, User Experience Design, and Customer Support groups.
Understand product vision, requirements, and customer usage models.
Develop appropriate release strategies.
Execute the TPM team’s technical vision and roadmap.
Develop and track project schedules.
Work closely with software engineers, product managers, marketers, customer service leads, and external partners.
Coordinate release schedules and build processes.

Requirements

7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
3+ years of software development experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Desired Qualifications

5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
