Seeking a highly experienced Technical Architect with deep expertise in the OpenText Documentum platform, focusing on architecture, development, and enterprise integrations. This role involves designing, modernizing, and governing ECM platforms to ensure scalability, compliance, and high availability.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and develop solutions for product delivery.
  • Train and develop teams to mitigate delivery risks.
  • Ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies.
  • Gather specifications and deliver solutions based on domain or technology understanding.
  • Own end-to-end Documentum platform architecture, including design, governance, and standards.
  • Lead Documentum upgrades, migrations, installations, and environment lifecycle management.
  • Design and implement scalable ECM solutions using Documentum D2, xCP, and Content Server.
  • Drive xECM for SAP integrations for enterprise content synchronization and business process enablement.
  • Architect integrations with Brava (document viewing/annotation) and InfoArchive (archival strategy & compliance).
  • Define and enforce security, compliance, audit, and governance frameworks.
  • Provide technical leadership for development, customization, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to define CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and automation frameworks.
  • Ensure high performance, availability, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Support incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in OpenText Documentum platform, including Documentum Content Server, Documentum D2 (mandatory), xCP / Webtop / WDK.
  • Proven expertise in Documentum Upgrades, Installations, and Configuration.
  • Proven expertise in Documentum Development (DQL, BOF, Workflows, Methods).
  • Extensive hands-on experience with xECM for SAP (mandatory), Brava Viewer integration (mandatory), InfoArchive (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of Content lifecycle management and Repository design.
  • Strong proficiency in Documentum D2 Development (mandatory).
  • Solid understanding of Documentum core fundamentals (repository, object model, workflows).
  • Experience with DFC development (good to have).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS, storage, deployment models).
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Strong knowledge of modern architecture patterns: SOLID Principles, MVC, N-tier Architecture, RESTful APIs & SOA, Microservices & Modular Monoliths, Event-driven architecture, Domain Driven Design (DDD).
  • Experience in Asynchronous and parallel processing, Scalable distributed system design.
  • Strong foundation in computer science concepts (data structures, algorithms, OOP).
  • Experience in Relational data modeling & schema design, SQL (Oracle / SQL Server preferred).
  • DevOps exposure: Git / Version Control Systems, CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps / Jenkins).
  • Knowledge of Cloud deployment models, Containerization (Docker), Orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • 8–13 years of relevant experience in ECM / Documentum ecosystem.
  • Proven experience in large-scale enterprise ECM implementations.
  • Proven experience in Managed services / support + transformation engagements.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client communication skills.
  • Ability to lead distributed/global teams (onsite/offshore model).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to drive innovation, automation, and governance practices.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in OpenText extended ecosystem (xPlore, OTMM, Intelligent Capture, Archive Center).
  • Exposure to ServiceNow / ITSM tools.
  • Experience in content migration and digital transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of compliance and records management frameworks.
