We are looking for a Technical Architect with 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP, specializing in modernizing legacy applications and designing cloud architectures. The role involves leading teams, driving innovation, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement robust IT solutions.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal and external experts to deliver portfolio rationalization project requirements.
Leverage business knowledge and prior experience to deliver well-argued and structured plans to optimize the IT portfolio.
Perform risk assessments to develop response strategies.
Design and implement Application strategy and drive improvement initiatives based on Business Cases.
Conduct rigorous quantitative analyses to generate insights about application portfolio alignment and value creation opportunities.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure and other cloud services like Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Open stack.
Hands-on experience architecting projects in Java/Microsoft/Legacy/Client-server technologies.
Thorough understanding of the modernization process, potential modernization treatments / methods and Cloud enablement.
Very good experience in .Net frameworks, SOA, REST, SOAP.
Experience in driving Cloud enablement of legacy applications and modern Cloud application development.
Experience in designing modernized IT landscape/architecture for medium and large Cloud migration projects.
Thorough understanding and good experience in Cloud migration assessment for Enterprise applications.
Ability to lead a team of Architects / technology Leads.
Good experience in Delivery and Pre-sales process.
Experience in Client RFP’s for large deals.
Experience in Pricing and Estimation methods.
A detailed understanding of modern web, data, AI and devops technologies across AWS, Azure and GCP.
Able to quickly understand new business landscapes and terminologies.
Getting senior stakeholders and delivery teams to efficiently collaborate in defining, selecting and implementing new systems.
Introducing or evolving agile architecture practices to improve delivery speed and quality.
Implementing governance and automated processes for security, data and technical delivery.
Integrating legacy and COTS systems using APIs, microservices and/or event-driven SOA.
Risk analysis and planning of new and existing systems.
Experienced with C#, Java, Python and other open source technologies.
Subject matter expert in APIs, databases, application development, CMS systems and identity management.
Certified in TOGAF 9.1 (over 80% in Level 1 and 2), CISSP, Agile, Microsoft Architecture, Sitecore and Prince2.
Architecture expertise in all areas from defining the business case through to risk analysis and design of application interfaces and components.
Profound expertise in classic and cloud infrastructure, visualization, networking, load balancing, deployment automation, orchestration, and system migration.
Deep understanding of microservices architectural principles. Practical experience with containerization and integrations, as well as CI/CD practices.
Ability to describe and document architectural and design decisions.
Well-rounded in Linux and Windows OS, networking, automation optimization, and troubleshooting.
Goal-oriented, motivated, and organized person with excellent communication skills.
Versed in project management, collaboration with distributed teams, and large team management.

Desired Qualifications

Hands-on experience in more than one cloud will be an added advantage.
Experience in home grown/third party legacy conversion tools will be a plus.
Experience in DevOps tools, Agile PM will be a plus.
Brilliant at explaining technical and non-technical concepts.
