Nihon TetraPak is seeking a System Support Associate to provide technical consulting and expert support for Tetra Brik filling machine systems. This role involves leading machine deployments, applying automation expertise, performing troubleshooting, and driving performance improvements. Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment of next-generation filling machines in Japan and other markets
- Apply automation expertise and work as an ARA Expert
- Support installation projects with system-specific expertise, focusing on NPI and MC readiness
- Audit filling lines and drive performance improvement initiatives
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis using established problem-solving methodologies
- Build and maintain strong technical networks at both regional and global levels
- Provide support and share expertise with TetraPak colleagues and Customers
- Support KA teams in business opportunity analysis
- Support field testing activities for CS and PS
- Identify technical issues and drive containment solutions
- Perform Technical Assistance Reporting, including QuTI-P, during all related activities
Requirements
- A self-motivated attitude with a high degree of initiative
- +3 years of experience in installation, maintenance, and service work on A1/A3/E3 machine systems
- A strong customer-focused mindset
- Experience combining customer management with technical discussions and negotiations
- Good leadership skills
- The ability to mentor and coach peers
- Willingness to travel domestically within Japan and internationally
- Fluency in Japanese, both written and spoken
- Working-level technical English proficiency
