Responsibilities
- Explore, evaluate, and drive adoption of AI on resource-constrained embedded and edge computing platforms.
- Assess feasibility of edge AI, identify and validate use cases, and establish proof of concepts.
- Train proprietary machine learning models on GPU-based infrastructure.
- Optimize and deploy AI models on low-power edge processors for real-time intelligence.
- Evaluate emerging HW and SW technologies.
- Collaborate with Common Technology, High Speed Edge Computing, and Sensor System Software Architecture teams.
- Act as a technical leader, driving development and anticipating future trends.
- Engage in external and international relations with academia, partners, and customers.
- Develop and maintain a specialist plan outlining vision and strategy for the technical area.
- Communicate plan and vision regularly to inspire, share insights, and push boundaries.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Embedded AI, Machine Learning, and Embedded Systems.
- Experience with Edge AI and machine learning model development.
- Experience with identification, evaluation, and validation of edge AI use cases.
- Experience with GPU-accelerated model training using frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with model optimization and compression techniques, including quantization and pruning.
- Experience with deployment of AI models on relevant compute.
- Experience with embedded systems and RTOS-based software development.
- Experience with hardware platform evaluation and selection for edge AI applications.
- Programming in C/C++ and Python.
- Experience with sensor integration, signal processing, and data acquisition.
- Experience with evaluation of emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and hardware platforms.
