This role involves resolving defects, delivering minor enhancements, and maintaining custom SAP applications. The ideal candidate will have strong ABAP/Fiori skills and experience with SAP technical domains and production support.
Responsibilities
- Develop, troubleshoot, and enhance ABAP objects, custom reports, forms, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, workflows, and user exits/BAdIs.
- Resolve L2/L3 incidents and defects related to custom SAP development, ensuring service continuity and SLA adherence.
- Support minor enhancements, service requests, and small changes from design through deployment.
- Perform root-cause analysis for recurring development issues and recommend permanent fixes.
- Update runbooks/SOPs to support shift-left execution.
Requirements
- ABAP and ABAP OO
- S/4HANA/ECC custom development
- Debugging and performance tuning
- BAdI/user exits/enhancement framework
- IDoc/RFC/BAPI/OData basics
- SAP Gateway and Fiori integration awareness
- SAP forms: Smart Forms/SAPscript/Adobe Forms
- Transport and release management
- ServiceNow/Jira/Solution Manager working knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- SAPUI5/Fiori development
- CDS views/AMDP/HANA SQLScript
- Boomi or SAP PI/PO integration awareness
- Tricentis test support
- GenAI ABAP coder or SAP BTP automation exposure
