Securitas is seeking a Support Engineer in Stockholm to provide first-line technical support, professional services, and training to resellers and customers for the Pacom product line. This role involves managing IT infrastructure, databases, troubleshooting systems, and supporting global operations with a focus on the Nordic region.

Responsibilities

Manage support cases from intake through resolution.
Deliver technical and user training to employees, partners, resellers, and customers.
Administer support portals and product catalogues.
Perform testing, beta testing, and maintain manuals and technical documentation.
Provide on-site support and upgrades as part of professional services.
Support product quality, customer migrations, and future product requirements.
Act as a technical advisor in complex projects and drive resolution of product defects.

Requirements

Genuine interest in IT infrastructure.
Several years of experience working with networking, server and client environments, virtualization technologies, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in Networking (switches, routers, firewalls, and TCP/IP).
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in Server and client environments (Windows and/or Linux).
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in Virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix.
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Minimum 8 years of industry experience preferably within the Security Business and /or IT.
Minimum secondary school qualification; university degree preferred.
Proven experience in networking, server/client infrastructure, virtualization, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage and maintain enterprise IT environments and databases.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Project management experience.
Strong Swedish and English language skills (Mandatory).
Must be a Swedish citizen and hold a valid Driver's License.
Must have an approved Security Clearance.
