As a Supply Chain Manager at the Relay Operation Centre (ROC) in Hyderabad, you will facilitate communication between stakeholders, resolve transportation exceptions, and drive process improvements. This role involves analyzing network data, developing performance metrics, and collaborating with technology teams to enhance operational efficiency for Amazon's supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Operation, Tech/Integration, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
  • Pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
  • Scope business and functional requirements for Amazon technology teams who create and enhance ROC software systems.
  • Identify business impact of trends and make data-backed decisions.
  • Escalate problems or variances in information and data to relevant owners and teams, following through on resolutions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 1+ years of supply chain experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/related discipline with 2-4 years of work experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology.
  • Experience in MS Access and SQL.
  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents.
  • Logistics/transportation background and lean/six sigma training is a plus.
