As a Production Superintendent in Nuevo León, Mexico, you will be responsible for ensuring proper production planning, safeguarding profitability through effective purchasing, and managing raw materials. Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper production planning based on customer demand and plant capacity.
  • Safeguard business profitability through effective control of raw material and supply purchases.
  • Ensure proper control, administration, and storage of raw materials and supplies.
  • Participate in regular meetings with plant counterparts to align operational plans, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide technical support and resources for optimal performance.
  • Propose, implement, and sustain continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
  • Participate in research and development activities for new products and optimization of existing products.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing and operational processes.
  • Promote automation, mechanization, and productivity improvements.
  • Lead, manage, and develop personnel within assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Establish, monitor, and drive departmental KPIs to achieve business objectives.
  • Implement initiatives that improve operational efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets in alignment with business goals.
  • Ensure the availability of resources necessary to support and optimize business operations.
  • Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures for all applicable processes.
  • Promote and reinforce the organization’s culture, values, and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar management position within a manufacturing environment.
