This full-time, on-site role involves assembling gasket plate heat exchangers using hand/power tools, following blueprints, and performing quality checks. You'll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a safe, clean workspace.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components to build finished gasket plate heat exchangers.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and blueprints for production.
- Report deviations in safety, quality, parts, or equipment.
- Participate in daily status board meetings and suggest solutions.
- Identify waste elimination opportunities and drive Kaizen improvements.
- Engage in daily & weekly 5S routines.
- Seek cross-training opportunities within manufacturing processes.
- Use downtime efficiently to learn new processes and run improvements.
- Accurately record data on quality documentation, components, and products.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities (5S, PRP, TPM).
- Cross-train to support factory demands as required.
- Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items.
- Use Personal Protective Equipment as required.
Requirements
- Strong manual dexterity.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to follow blueprints/instructions.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Willingness to be trained and pass Industrial Vehicle Test (Crane, Forklift, Joey).
- Accurate and consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with gasket plate heat exchangers is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, PRP, TPM) is beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate with teams.
