We are seeking a Strategic Industry Sales Leader to drive growth and strengthen Emerson’s market presence across Sustainability & Decarbonization (S&D), Data Centers (DC), and Aerospace & Defense (A&D) in Iberia. Based in Madrid, this is a high-impact, customer-facing role where you will lead strategic business development efforts, engage with senior stakeholders, and uncover new opportunities through frequent, in-person customer interactions.

This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who excels at building relationships, navigating complex organizations, and translating market insights into sustainable growth. You will play a key role in positioning Emerson as a trusted partner, supporting customers in advancing energy transition, digitalization, and operational excellence across critical industries.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Drive proactive business development by identifying and securing new opportunities across Iberia, with a strong focus on customers in and around Madrid
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers, including C-level stakeholders, across customers, EPCs, and industry partners
  • Lead strategic sales conversations that align Emerson’s value proposition with customer business goals
  • Collaborate across business units to deliver integrated, high-value solutions
  • Stay informed on market dynamics, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within target industries
  • Conduct regular in-person customer visits to strengthen partnerships and uncover growth opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans focused on long-term value creation
  • Represent Emerson with professionalism, credibility, and confidence in all customer interactions

  • Fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English
  • Willingness and ability to conduct frequent in-person customer meetings (daily visits expected)
  • Strong market awareness across sectors such as industrial, energy, infrastructure, or related industries
  • A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams

  • Established network within data centers, sustainability & decarbonization (S&D), and air & defense sectors
