Responsibilities
- Support operation of steam boilers (0.5–8 TPH) at customer sites, ensuring safe and efficient running.
- Provide on-site technical troubleshooting and breakdown support.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of boilers, auxiliaries, burners, panels, pumps, valves, and electrical systems.
- Support installation, commissioning, and trial runs of steam systems, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
- Guide and train boiler operators on safe operation and best practices.
- Prepare and maintain service reports, commissioning checklists, maintenance logs, and performance reports.
- Review and update technical documents, SOPs, and safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with boiler regulations and statutory requirements.
- Capture learning from field operations and provide feedback for process improvement.
Requirements
- Diploma / bachelor’s degree in electrical / mechanical engineering.
- 4–5 years of experience in boiler operation & maintenance, steam systems / thermal utilities, and field service or plant operations.
- Strong understanding of boiler systems & auxiliaries, electrical panels, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Hands-on troubleshooting capability.
Desired Qualifications
- 2nd Class Boiler Operator Certificate - Preferred
- Hands-on and field-oriented approach.
