Responsibilities
- Define and deliver complex cross-functional projects by interacting with Project Sponsors, other Product/Program Managers, and development teams.
- Drive large-scale projects from inception to conclusion, formulating product vision and strategy, defining user stories, and researching technical solutions.
- Communicate vision, plans, and project status clearly to management and key stakeholders.
- Work closely with the software development team on delivering high-quality solutions, providing guidance on architecture, design, and priorities.
- Engage with other Amazon teams to evangelize the team and projects, build relationships, and identify leverageable technologies.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, manage escalations, and balance business needs with constraints.
- Create, maintain, and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
