Spring Boot Senior Technical Lead - JavaScript

Job Summary

The Senior Technical lead in the field of Web Development with expertise in JavaScript and Spring boot is responsible for leading technical teams, ensuring high-quality code delivery, and driving technical innovation in web development projects.

Backend Developer Skill set:
•experience in Java backend development.
• Proficiency in Java (Java 8 or higher), with a deep understanding of object-oriented design and development principles.
• Proficiency in microservices architecture.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Security for developing backend applications and securing APIs.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB for NoSQL data management and Couchbase for session management and caching.
• Strong understanding of the CAMARA Standard and OpenAPI Specification.
• Familiarity with JWT, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect protocols for secure authentication and authorization.
• Proficiency in containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Strong expertise in AWS services along with SQL and Non-SQL DB’s preferably MongoDB, Splunk, NewRelic and other software supporting components.
• Familiarity with tools like Postman or Swagger for API testing and documentation.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices, including versioning, pagination, and error handling.
• Strong understanding of authentication models, encryption algorithms, Cipher suites and deployment models.
• Experience in API’s design, swagger, Open API specs. 42 Crunch and API scanning tools preferred.⁠
• Experience with AI-driven development tools, including code completion assistants, static code analysis, and automated testing platforms.
• Experience with Git for version control and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about security, performance, and scalability issues.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and mentor technical teams in the design, development, and implementation of web applications using javascript and spring boot.
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define technical requirements and provide solutions that align with business goals.
3. Drive technical innovation by staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development and implementing best practices.
4. Perform code reviews, provide technical guidance, and troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure scalable and robust web solutions.
5. Define technical architecture, design patterns, and coding standards for web development projects.
6. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and ensure technical deliverables meet quality standards.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in web development technologies such as javascript, html, css, and frameworks like react or angular.
2. Strong hands-on experience in developing microservices using spring boot framework.
3. Knowledge of restful apis, database systems, and cloud services.
4. Familiarity with agile methodologies and devops practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
6. Good communication skills, teamwork, and leadership abilities to effectively lead technical teams and collaborate with stakeholders.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in Web Development, Javascript, or Springboot are a plus.
