Amazon is looking for a contractual Sourcing Event Specialist to manage team engagement and events for a large organization. This role involves planning and executing town halls, celebrations, and team-building activities, ensuring seamless execution and fostering a collaborative culture. The ideal candidate will have experience in large-scale project management, event planning, and organizational development, with strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Design and execute quarterly town halls, offsite and team celebrations.
Manage end-to-end event logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, budgeting, and post-event analysis.
Coordinate milestone celebrations including team birthdays, work anniversaries and organizational achievements.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive engagement calendar.
Gather feedback from teams to continuously improve engagement initiatives.
Track engagement metrics and participation rates to demonstrate program impact.
Manage engagement budgets and vendor relationships efficiently.
Maintain and drive detailed documentation of events, attendance and outcomes.
Coordinate with HR and leadership on policy alignment and compliance for yearly offsite requiring team travel.

Requirements

Experience managing large-scale projects from end to end.
Experience working on and delivering end to end projects independently.
Bachelor's degree.
5+ years of experience in event planning, team engagement and organizational development.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives.
Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management capability.
Excellent attention to detail and follow-through on commitments.
Proficiency in event management tools and basic data analysis.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in a fast paced, dynamic organization.
Knowledge of employee engagement best practices and culture-building initiatives.
Experience with virtual and hybrid event management.
Familiarity with engagement metrics and ROI measurement.
