Responsibilities
- Help customers plan their successful cloud journey and solve complex technical challenges.
- Craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures.
- Drive technical solutions discussions and dive deep into details with customer teams.
- Build relationships to understand customers and partners.
- Act as a thought leader in the wider community through education, best practice sharing, presentations, and writing.
- Gather customer feedback to shape the direction of AWS products and services.
- Own the overall technical relationship between customers, AWS, and partners.
- Make recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Provide prescriptive guidance on how to create business value with technology.
Requirements
- 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
- 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
