Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software to resolve defects and implement user stories.
- Develop deep expertise in Mastercam’s critical business processes.
- Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and implement necessary updates.
- Coordinate with other engineers on implementation of requested changes.
- Conduct code and technical reviews.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes for software development.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Focus on integrating an acquired company to Mastercam per Sandvik's and Mastercam's program and processes.
- Take broader BA wide responsibilities under the common Sandvik compliance program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4 - 5 years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform.
- Proficiency in declarative development such as fields, objects, flows, permissions.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data modeling, and best practices.
- Experience with standard software development practices such as source control, peer reviews, and unit testing.
- Experience with agile software development.
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud required.
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools or automation to improve productivity and operational effectiveness, or a demonstrated ability to rapidly learn, evaluate, and apply such technologies at scale.
Desired Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer I, II, or Salesforce Administrator certifications a plus.
- Revenue Cloud a plus.
- Above average communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide accurate and timely information in a succinct and easy to understand manner.
- Proven time management skills and a track record of working in a team environment successfully supporting others.
- Well-organized, attention to detail and able to multi-task.
- Problem solving and analysis skills.
