Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, debug, deploy, maintain, document, and deliver large-scale, highly distributed, real-time and management systems.
Use Java, Scala, object-oriented design patterns, NoSQL databases, and data modeling techniques.
Design PB scale big-data processing solutions leveraging latest AWS solutions.
Gather and analyze business and functional requirements, and translate them into technical design specifications.
Serve as a key technical resource in the full development cycle.
Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation.
Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
Work with Senior and Principal Engineers, Researchers, and Data Engineers to design software solutions for optimizing supply chain management.
Work in an agile development environment.

Requirements

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Desired Qualifications

Experience with taxation, currency dynamics, and multi-format fulfillment.
