As a Software Development Engineer II for FBA Placement in Bengaluru, India, you will build and re-architect multi-tier systems at Amazon scale, solving complex business problems with elegant technical solutions. Responsibilities

Solve ambiguous business problems and map them to elegant technical solutions.
Use object-oriented concepts, algorithms, and data structures to build systems at Amazon scale.
Design, launch, and re-architect multi-tier systems with large amounts of data.
Quickly adapt to a fast-paced development environment with a bias towards simple and extensible code.
Review customer feedback and operational metrics.
Refine new workflows with UX designers and product managers.
Collaborate with backend and science engineers to define API contracts.
Review design or code changes from teammates.
Build and test new experiences.
Influence both the customer experience and the underlying technical architecture.

Requirements

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Desired Qualifications

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Experience with UX, front-end architecture, distributed services, and complex supply-chain decisions.
