Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions across the full development lifecycle, including scoping, architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing operations.
- Ensure high-quality and maintainable outcomes for software solutions.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional peers to understand business and customer needs.
- Translate requirements into well-structured technical designs that balance scalability, performance, and security.
- Identify and resolve root causes of operational issues, driving permanent fixes.
- Continuously improve the team's operational health and software reliability.
- Mentor and coach fellow engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Evaluate modern tools and approaches, including generative AI, to improve development productivity, code quality, and customer experience.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
