This role involves collaborating with business leaders, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists to build scalable applications on AWS Cloud using technologies like reactive microservices and serverless computing.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Supply Chain Software and Applications.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists to ideate business-friendly software solutions.
  • Design client-side and server-side architecture for Supply Chain applications.
  • Write high-quality, modular, functional, and testable code.
  • Develop functional databases, applications, and servers to support Supply Chain platforms.
  • Write effective APIs and develop technical specifications and documentation.
  • Test software for responsiveness and efficiency; troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade applications.
  • Formally mentor junior engineers on design, coding, and troubleshooting.
  • Communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a global environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Desired Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
  • Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
  • Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
  • Experience with Supply Chain Planning and Procurement system development is a plus.
