Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deliver software for Alexa Audio, working with partners to achieve business goals.
- Create infrastructure to integrate LLMs into the Audio space, championing software engineering best practices.
- Develop tools and software to evaluate, analyze, and improve model accuracy for Audio experiences, reducing latency and friction.
- Influence the operational and engineering excellence roadmap for core audio services.
- Provide design and coding feedback to internal and external teams, guiding them on best practices for Audio owned services.
- Mentor junior team members, participate in hiring, and share knowledge through demos and lunch-n-learns.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
- 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling).
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++).
- Experience with Generative AI and LLMs.
- Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
