Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable services and APIs for the QC fulfillment stack.
  • Develop systems that enforce operational controls for external fulfillment environments with 3P partners.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and TPMs to define technical solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following Amazon's engineering best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement in system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning sessions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to raising the engineering bar.
  • Work in a fast-paced, agile environment with rapid iteration cycles.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling of new and existing systems).
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflow, or experience operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company, or experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and reacting with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround.
  • Experience working in fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain technology.
