Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, ARM/Bicep templates, PowerShell, Bash, and Azure CLI.
- Provide L3 troubleshooting and production support, performing advanced analysis and resolving complex issues.
- Administer and support container platforms using Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.
- Implement DevSecOps practices by integrating security controls, access management, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Drive monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights and enterprise monitoring platforms.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical incidents and recurring technical problems.
- Manage source-control and release practices, including Git repositories, branching strategies, automated testing, and deployment.
- Develop automation scripts and operational tooling using Python, PowerShell, Bash/Shell or C#.
- Provide technical leadership and operational ownership, collaborating with teams and mentoring L1/L2 resources.
Requirements
- 6+ years in DevOps/Cloud/Platform Engineering with strong hands-on Azure DevOps experience.
- Expertise in Azure DevOps / Azure Pipelines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Git / GitHub.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform.
- Familiarity with ARM / Bicep.
- Scripting skills in PowerShell / Python / Bash.
- Experience with Azure CLI.
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience with Kubernetes / AKS.
- Knowledge of GitHub Actions / Jenkins.
- Experience with Azure Monitor & Log Analytics.
- Familiarity with Application Insights.
- Experience with monitoring platforms like Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana or Datadog.
- Understanding of CI/CD and release automation.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles.
- Strong troubleshooting and RCA skills.
- Preferred certifications: AZ-400: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, AZ-104: Azure Administrator Associate, Kubernetes CKA/CKAD.
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of Azure IaaS experience (for more senior roles).
- Experience with Helm and GitOps practices.
