Strong hands-on experience supporting AWS and/or Azure infrastructure, with practical knowledge of both platforms is required. The role involves Windows Server administration, provisioning VMs, and troubleshooting across compute, storage, and networking. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation is essential.

Responsibilities

Support infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure.
Provision and support Windows VMs in cloud environments.
Troubleshoot Windows OS, Compute, Storage, Networking, IAM/RBAC, Monitoring, Logging, Performance, and Cloud connectivity.
Develop and maintain SOPs, operational procedures, and technical runbooks.
Handle Incidents, Problems, Changes, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Perform Windows/cloud security hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance activities.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience supporting infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure.
Practical working knowledge of both AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
Strong Windows Server administration and troubleshooting experience.
Hands-on experience provisioning and supporting Windows VMs in cloud environments.
Experience with cloud account/subscription structures, resource organization, permissions, roles, and access controls.
Working knowledge of AWS services including EC2, AMIs, IAM, CloudWatch, EBS, and Systems Manager.
Working knowledge of Azure services including Virtual Machines, subscriptions, resource groups, RBAC, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, disks, networking, and Azure VM/image management.
Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code or configuration-management technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Azure Bicep.
Experience developing and maintaining standardized Windows AMIs/Azure VM images.
Strong knowledge of AWS IAM and Azure RBAC in controlled enterprise environments.
Understanding of ITIL-based Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management processes.

Desired Qualifications

Hands-on operational experience with both AWS and Azure in a large enterprise environment.
Experience building, improving, or transitioning an enterprise Cloud Operations/Cloud Support model.
Experience automating cloud infrastructure provisioning and post-build validation.
Experience with ServiceNow or similar enterprise ITSM platforms.
Working knowledge of cloud governance, tagging standards, naming conventions, access controls, and resource lifecycle management.
