Site WHS Manager is needed to ensure compliance with WHS policies and regulations at a Fulfillment Center. This role will lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles to create a safe working environment and will manage the site safety team.
Responsibilities
- Partner with site operations leadership to implement and sustain WHS policies.
- Ensure compliance with Amazon Safety Policies and local/state/central regulations.
- Analyze safety metrics and incident trends to allocate resources.
- Conduct site safety audits and implement solutions.
- Audit record-keeping, system entries, workplace organization, and Associate behaviors.
- Deliver safety projects aligned with Operations priorities.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the site safety team.
- Create and execute leadership development plans for direct reports.
- Engage with Associates and leaders to identify safety program improvement opportunities.
- Ensure site leadership and Associates are trained on safety responsibilities.
- Identify and incorporate best practices into company safety standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
