Responsibilities
- Define and develop thermal system architectures, concepts, and technical solutions aligned with product requirements and strategic roadmaps.
- Lead concept investigations, feasibility studies, and evaluation of alternative system solutions, providing recommendations based on technical, functional, and business criteria.
- Develop and maintain system, product, and functional requirements, ensuring traceability throughout the development process.
- Support product managers in translating capability needs into features, enablers, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate system integration activities and support component selection to ensure compliance with performance, reliability, and design targets.
- Define and execute system verification and validation strategies, including recommending suitable verification methods and analyzing test results.
- Lead technical reviews, develop technical reports, and maintain system technical documentation.
- Perform impact assessments for new requirements and engineering changes, considering both functional and physical system domains.
- Manage development plans, coordinate deliverables from multiple stakeholders, and drive activities to meet project milestones and release readiness criteria.
- Ensure system quality, technical maturity, and compliance with functional and non-functional requirements before release.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic engineering (or related field)
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Strong knowledge of thermal systems engineering and system architecture.
- Experience with automotive thermal systems engineering and system architecture.
- Experience with requirements management, system integration, and verification activities.
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering activities and technical decision-making.
- Experience in Automotive Industry
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in 3D CAD knowledge, preferable PTC-Creo
- Experience working in an Agile Environment (SAFe)
- Commercial driver's license (C/D/E category)
