As a Solution Architect for PLM Test Automation, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of the Active Tester solution using Cucumber, Selenium, WinAppDriver, and OpenCV. This full-time role based in Pune, India, requires 10+ years of experience and strong expertise in Java and desktop automation.

Responsibilities

  • Define end-to-end architecture for automating desktop test cases across multiple PLM desktop applications using Java and Python.
  • Design scalable, secure, consistent, and high-performance step definitions for PLM applications (desktop and web).
  • Understand customer test automation requirements and present tailored Active Tester solutions and demos.
  • Design and execute proof-of-concepts (POCs) to demonstrate Active Tester capabilities.
  • Lead Active Tester implementation projects, including installation, configuration, and customization.
  • Integrate Active Tester with existing or new CI/CD pipelines and ALM applications.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to automation engineers and other team members.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across the Active Tester solution.
  • Continuously optimize consistency, performance, and user experience.

Requirements

  • 10+ years overall experience; 8+ years in test automation (Selenium, Cucumber).
  • Core Java expertise (6+ years).
  • OpenCV experience (4+ years).
  • Python experience (2+ years).
  • Desktop automation experience (2+ years): WinAppDriver, SikuliX, or similar tools.
  • PLM application experience (1+ years).
  • Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor teams.

Desired Qualifications

  • Customer presentations/proposals.
  • CI/CD tool experience is a plus.
