As a Senior Technical Specialist in Hyderabad, you will leverage strong experience in Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, or SRE within cloud-native environments. You will be responsible for building and managing CI/CD platforms, embedding security and compliance, and implementing Infrastructure as Code. Banking or core banking platform experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and run CI/CD platforms, pipeline templates, reusable automation, self-service workflows, and developer tooling.
- Implement engineering controls across build, test, release, deployment, rollback, evidence capture, and operational readiness.
- Embed security and compliance into pipelines, including vulnerability scanning, dependency checks, static analysis, secrets scanning, policy-as-code, approval gates, and audit evidence generation.
- Standardize platform delivery using Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, and automation practices.
- Support cloud-native platforms, preferably GCP and GKE, including identity, networking, security controls, Kubernetes deployments, and operational support.
- Design golden paths, reusable engineering patterns, paved roads, self-service portals, or platform APIs to improve engineering productivity.
- Ensure secure software delivery, supply chain security, access controls, secrets management, certificates, artefact management, and environment governance.
- Implement observability and operational readiness, including dashboards, alerts, deployment health, service health, incident response, and continual improvement.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Platform Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, Developer Experience Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Engineer in cloud-native environments.
- Hands-on experience building and running CI/CD platforms, pipeline templates, reusable automation, self-service workflows, and developer tooling.
- Strong working knowledge of CI/CD tooling and engineering controls across build, test, release, deployment, rollback, evidence capture, and operational readiness.
- Experience embedding security and compliance into pipelines, including vulnerability scanning, dependency checks, static analysis, secrets scanning, policy-as-code, approval gates, and audit evidence generation.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, and automation practices to standardize platform delivery and reduce manual intervention.
- Good understanding of cloud-native platforms, preferably GCP and GKE, including identity, networking, security controls, Kubernetes deployments, and operational support.
- Experience designing golden paths, reusable engineering patterns, paved roads, self-service portals, or platform APIs that improve engineering productivity while maintaining control.
- Good understanding of secure software delivery, supply chain security, access controls, secrets management, certificates, artefact management, and environment governance.
- Experience with observability and operational readiness, including dashboards, alerts, deployment health, service health, incident response, and continual improvement.
- Knowledge of SRE principles including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, operational readiness, automation, and toil reduction.
- Understanding of change management, audit, risk, evidence capture, and compliance expectations within a regulated environment.
- Experience with GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Argo CD, Backstage, or equivalent developer platform and deployment tooling.
- Experience with policy-as-code, Open Policy Agent, SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, SBOM generation, or software supply chain security tooling.
- Experience with GCP, GKE, Terraform, Kubernetes, Istio, Apigee, Kafka, Dynatrace, or OpenTelemetry.

- Banking or core banking platform experience.
- Experience working with Thought Machine Vault.
