The Senior Production Support Engineer is responsible for end-to-end ownership of production incidents, ensuring application stability and rapid recovery. This role involves supporting .NET applications and Oracle databases, performing deep-dive analysis, cross-team coordination, and participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Lead P1/P2 major incident response, ensuring rapid triage, communication, and service restoration.
Manage P3/P4 issues within SLA and ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate with Application Team, DB, and infrastructure teams during outages.
Troubleshoot .NET Framework / .NET Core production issues.
Analyze logs, exceptions, API failures, and performance bottlenecks.
Support IIS-hosted applications, configuration changes, and deployment validations.
Perform SQL query analysis and troubleshooting.
Investigate data inconsistencies and deadlocks.
Participate in a structured 24x7 on-call rotation.
Monitor overnight jobs, integrations, and batch processes.

Requirements

.NET Framework / .NET Core
C#, Web API, MVC
IIS configuration & troubleshooting
Log analysis (Serilog, NLog, ELK, Splunk)
SQL, PL/SQL
Query tuning
Performance troubleshooting
Understanding of schemas, triggers, stored procedures
CICD, Kubernetes
Application log monitoring
Application deployment
Ansible
Strong debugging and analytical skills
Experience with ServiceNow/Jira/Remedy
Usability of AI tools

Desired Qualifications

Experience in CICD pipeline, Kubernetes
Experience in troubleshooting Failure in the Devops for application entity
