We are looking for a Senior Technical Lead with over 12 years of experience in Swift and SwiftUI to develop high-quality iOS applications. This role involves owning the full development lifecycle, optimizing performance, and collaborating on technical architecture within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality iOS applications with a focus on scalability, maintainability, performance, and user experience.
  • Own story preparation, development, automated testing, code reviews, deployment support, monitoring, and maintenance activities.
  • Build and launch customer-facing mobile features using modern engineering practices and Agile methodologies.
  • Optimize application performance, memory utilization, startup time, and responsiveness using iOS diagnostic tools.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers and architects to integrate RESTful APIs and deliver seamless experiences.
  • Implement offline storage, concurrency, threading, and data synchronization strategies.
  • Drive code quality through Sonar and other quality frameworks, ensuring maintainable and secure code.
  • Publish and maintain applications in the Apple App Store.
  • Support production operations, incident management, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Contribute to technical design discussions, architecture decisions, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Strong experience with iOS app performance and memory tuning tools.
  • Total professional experience of 12+ years in Software Engineering.
  • Strong experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.
  • Strong experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
  • Knowledge of web technologies and UI/UX standards.
  • Strong understanding of Apple design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
  • Experience with benchmarking and optimization.
  • Strong experience publishing apps to the App Store.
  • Strong knowledge of code-quality tools such as Sonar.
  • Strong knowledge of automated testing including unit, integration, and contract testing.

Desired Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of Agile development methodologies
  • Working experience on ecommerce mobile apps
  • On-call support experience with PagerDuty and ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools like Datadog and Splunk
