HCLTech is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to design, build, secure, and operate cloud-native platforms and deployment infrastructure. This role involves owning Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and security controls across customer cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Kubernetes, cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), Terraform, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for application build, test, security scanning, and deployment.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Helm, or equivalent Infrastructure as Code tooling.
Containerize and deploy Python, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and supporting platform services.
Implement DevSecOps controls across the software delivery lifecycle.
Integrate SAST, SCA, container/image scanning, secrets detection, and vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
Manage Kubernetes security including RBAC, secrets, network policies, workload configuration, and access controls.
Support deployments within customer-managed cloud environments, including restricted enterprise environments.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, container, networking, deployment, database, and application-runtime issues.
Implement platform logging, monitoring, alerting, metrics, and observability.
Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers and application teams to resolve customer deployment issues.
Automate installation, upgrades, configuration, rollback, and environment validation.
Maintain deployment documentation, operational runbooks, troubleshooting procedures, and configuration standards.
Continuously improve platform reliability, security, scalability, and deployment repeatability.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and containerized applications.
Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Hands-on knowledge of Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Git-based development workflows, and deployment automation.
Experience implementing DevSecOps and security scanning within delivery pipelines.
Good scripting/programming experience with Python, Bash, or similar languages.
Understanding of Linux, networking, DNS, TLS/certificates, IAM, secrets management, and Kubernetes security.
Experience supporting PostgreSQL and cloud-native application environments.
Strong troubleshooting skills across application, container, Kubernetes, network, and cloud layers.
Experience implementing monitoring and observability using technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or cloud-native equivalents.
Strong documentation skills and ability to operate independently in unfamiliar customer environments.

Desired Qualifications

Experience deploying AI/LLM or GenAI applications in production.
Familiarity with Python application stacks such as FastAPI, Pydantic V2, and LangGraph.
Experience supporting enterprise/on-premises or customer-hosted deployments.
Understanding of software supply-chain security, vulnerability management, and secure SDLC practices.
Experience working directly with customer engineering, security, and infrastructure teams.
