HCLTech is looking for a Senior Technical Lead with expertise in OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) to join their team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The role involves designing and developing xECM solutions, including business workspaces, content models, security, workflows, and integrations, with a focus on coordinating with AppWorks case processes and the xECM content repository. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in enterprise content management development, with at least 4 years hands-on with OpenText Content Server / Extended ECM.

Responsibilities

Configure and extend xECM solutions using business workspace types, templates, categories, classifications, metadata and document lifecycle controls.
Build business workspaces, folder structures, naming conventions, document templates and contextual content views aligned to business objects and case types.
Integrate AppWorks case workflows with xECM for document creation, storage, retrieval, metadata synchronization, permissions and contextual access.
Develop Content Server workflows, event-driven actions, WebReports and supporting automation for content-centric business processes.
Build and consume Content Server REST APIs, Business Workspace APIs and web services for integration with AppWorks and other enterprise applications.
Configure OTDS-based authentication, users, groups, roles, workspace permissions, records controls, audit requirements and secure content access.
Develop or extend Smart View components, forms, commands and server-side modules where standard configuration does not meet requirements.
Perform code reviews, unit testing, defect resolution, deployment support, technical documentation, knowledge transfer and second/third-line support.

Requirements

7+ years in enterprise content management development
4+ years hands-on with OpenText Content Server / Extended ECM
Expert proficiency in OpenText Content Server / Extended ECM configuration and development
Expert proficiency in business workspaces, workspace types, templates, categories and classifications
Advanced proficiency in Content Server workflows, WebReports and process automation
Advanced proficiency in REST APIs, Business Workspace APIs, JSON/XML and enterprise integrations
Advanced proficiency in OTDS, users/groups, roles, permissions and access-control design
Advanced proficiency in Smart View, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and UI extensions
Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in OScript / Content Server SDK and custom module development
Advanced proficiency in SQL and troubleshooting across application, database and integration layers
