Responsibilities
- Provide functional direction and dotted-line management to Site based Procurement Managers.
- Onboard, develop, coach, and mentor Site Procurement Managers.
- Execute and manage Equipment contracts for large, complex data center construction projects.
- Understand business requirements, benchmark data, and share industry/category expertise.
- Integrate business specifications into RFI/RFP processes and manage supplier performance.
- Partner with suppliers to identify and drive continuous improvement and risk management opportunities.
- Manage contract and price negotiation activities for equipment categories.
- Monitor and mitigate the impact of change orders to the underlying business case.
- Attend cost/change management meetings and act as the commercial Subject Matter Expert for change orders.
- Negotiate Claims with a detailed understanding of contractual conditions.
- Ensure adherence to policy and manage remediation of sourcing issues.
- Develop pricing and negotiation strategies for contract changes.
- Drive early business engagements with cross-functional leadership to define and drive action on supply solutions.
- Manage and oversee Supplier labor management in coordination with General Contractor and Planning Teams.
- Manage schedule compliance and escalations from field team to support installation and Commissioning (Cx) activities.
- Facilitate Mechanical Engineer and Plumbing (MEP)/Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment delivery, inspections, and sign offs.
- Address quality-related issues and report to the quality team and category management.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 4+ years experience in data science/analytics, finance, project management, supply chain, and/or operation OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 6+ years experience in data science/analytics, finance, project management, supply chain, and/or operation OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
- Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 8+ years experience in data science/analytics, finance, project management, supply chain, and/or operation OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 12+ years experience in data science/analytics, finance, project management, supply chain, and/or operation OR equivalent experience.
