Responsibilities
- Manage release processes and deployment activities across all target environments.
- Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code solutions.
- Coordinate software deployments with manufacturing engineering, development, QA, and IT teams.
- Provision, configure, and maintain application environments, infrastructure, and Linux-based systems.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health, performance, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Support containerized environments, high availability, and platform reliability initiatives.
- Implement DevSecOps best practices and contribute to secure software delivery processes.
- Improve software engineering, deployment, and operational processes through automation and continuous improvement.
- Lead Go-Live activities and ensure successful production releases.
- Travel and fieldwork, including international travel, may be required.
Requirements
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer science or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, deployment engineering, or release management.
- Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
- Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, release management, and deployment automation.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, and scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools, such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux administration, and modern application infrastructure.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions (ELK Stack or similar).
- Working knowledge of Git-based version control systems such as GitHub and Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and secure software delivery.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, and FerretDB is an advantage.
