In short

Spotify is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead end-to-end audiobook experiences, focusing on discovery, conversion, listening, and the creator pipeline. This role requires a strategic individual to identify gaps, reduce friction, and improve the overall book ecosystem for listeners, creators, and rights-holders.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and execute product strategy across core book experiences, conversion flows, content pipeline, and creator tooling.
  • Partner with teams across Spotify to identify and close gaps across book surfaces, creating a coherent end-to-end experience.
  • Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Product Insights, and Program Management to lead improvements across discovery, conversion, listening, and creator-facing surfaces.
  • Conduct, commission, and use research to understand listener behavior, creator needs, book consumption patterns, and market trends.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to identify the most impactful opportunities and prioritize accordingly.
  • Define and track success metrics across the book experience, connecting upstream pipeline health with downstream listener outcomes.
  • Identify systemic friction points and opportunities across the book ecosystem, and advocate for improvements.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in product management, ideally working across complex product ecosystems with multiple surfaces, partners, and dependencies.
  • Track record of improving multi-surface product experiences, not just launching new features but making existing systems work better together.
  • Experience using analytics, A/B testing, and user research to guide product decisions.
  • Comfortable working across both consumer-facing and platform or tooling surfaces.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and build shared understanding across teams.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and managing complexity across multiple teams and partners.
  • Systems thinking and mapping how changes in one part of the ecosystem affect the rest.

Benefits

  • Extensive learning opportunities, through our dedicated team, GreenHouse.
  • Flexible share incentives letting you choose how you share in our success.
  • Global parental leave, six months off - for all new parents.
  • All The Feels, our employee assistance program and self-care hub.
  • Flexible public holidays, swap days off according to your values and beliefs.
  • Flexibility to work where you work best, with some in-person meetings but still allowing for flexibility to work from home.
