Responsibilities
- Develop and articulate mechanical, HVAC, MEP design plans and long-term strategy in collaboration with partners, customers, and stakeholders.
- Initiate new programs and drive them through execution.
- Manage various programs of work, engage teams and engineers, and set the pace for development, deployment, and delivery of data center services and infrastructure.
- Develop mechanical and MEP calculations, product selection criteria, project documentation, quality check documents, code and compliance metrics, process maps, presentations, and tracking reports.
- Analyze service and system performance data to generate recommendations and actionable plans.
- Provide strong quantitative analysis, interpreting technical and commercial information.
- Take accountability for driving project deliverables on time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in mission-critical facility design and construction environments.
- Experience in project management, vendor management, and stakeholder management.
- Experience with HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design plans and strategy.
- Experience in mechanical infrastructure.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in managing data center infrastructure and fit-out projects.
- Experience managing partners and stakeholders, vendor management, and customization of project management tools.
- Knowledge of green field fit-out construction, fit-out permits and statutory requirements, local industry standards and codes.
