The Senior FICO Functional Consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP Finance and Controlling solutions for the manufacturing industry. This role requires 8+ years of experience, expertise in FI/CO modules, and cross-module integration knowledge to lead workshops and provide functional guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit and manage detailed Business requirements, design technology-enabled Business use cases.
  • Document functional specifications for conversions, upgrades, interfaces, reports, and forms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on design activities, capturing system flows and technology solutions.
  • Advise Developers on expected system behavior based on Business requirements.
  • Design, customize, configure, and test FI/CO modules.
  • Perform functional testing and create test checklists for junior consultants.
  • Provide ad-hoc training and user support.
  • Handle configuration changes and emergency transports for production issues.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on relevant ERP modules, providing functional guidance.
  • Manage and deliver multiple projects concurrently involving cross-functional teams.
  • Provide functional support for SAP and related applications like Vertex, Concur, Esker.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP FICO implementation, Rollouts, and support projects.
  • Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, PM).
  • Knowledgeable in IDOCs and some ABAP experience for debugging.
  • Involved in at least 2 full life cycle SAP implementations including requirements gathering, configuration, and post-go-live support.
  • Experienced in COPA, Material Ledger, Product Costing, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, New General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Bank Accounting (DME, EBS), and Localization/Taxation.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to operate autonomously with limited supervision.
  • Close working relationship with Business stakeholders (typically VP-1 and VP-2).
