A Senior Engineer (L2) is needed for the Process Automation Team, working full-time with 24x7 rotational shifts. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions using tools like PowerShell, Python, Azure Automation, and Ansible to streamline IT operations and infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash, TypeScript, and Java.
  • Create and optimize workflows in Azure Automation and Ansible.
  • Implement API-based integrations to connect various systems and services.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for automation development.
  • Support Windows and Linux infrastructure environments.
  • Monitor automated processes and troubleshoot issues.
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of automation solutions.
  • Document automation procedures, runbooks, and technical specifications.
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.
  • Respond to automation-related incidents and service requests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Ability to write and maintain PowerShell scripts for Windows automation.
  • Basic to intermediate Python programming for automation tasks.
  • Shell scripting knowledge for Linux/Unix environments.
  • Understanding of TypeScript for modern automation frameworks.
  • Beginner-level Java knowledge for enterprise integrations.
  • Familiarity with Azure Automation services, runbooks, and hybrid workers.
  • Understanding of Ansible playbooks, roles, and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and API authentication methods.
  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, curl, etc.).
  • Ability to consume and integrate with third-party APIs.
  • Knowledge of JSON/XML data formats.

Desired Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (Power BI).
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (Powershell).
