This role is for a Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager responsible for achieving sales targets for control valves and instruments in the Baroda/Surat region. The position requires effective customer coverage, market penetration, and reporting on competitor activities. The ideal candidate has a BE in Mechanical or Instrumentation engineering with 6-8 years of technical sales experience in the process industry.

Responsibilities

Achieve/exceed booking and sales targets for control valves and Instruments in the assigned territory.
Ensure high customer satisfaction through effective coverage of End users.
Plan and achieve agreed-upon Orders and Sales targets.
Explain product superiority to convert competitor products and develop new customers/markets.
Furnish monthly bookings forecast to the regional sales leader and meet/exceed the forecast.
Provide sales and application support to customers for growth and market penetration.
Maintain a professional company image, demonstrating competence, efficiency, and customer concern.
Furnish reports and feedback on competitor activities, market intelligence, prices, and products.
Conduct Technical Presentations to customers to promote the Fisher No Equals message.
Monitor and ensure timely collection of receivables and maintain DSO as per budgeted norms.

Requirements

BE Engineering Degree (Mechanical/ Instrumentation).
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the process industry.
Knowledge of the Control valve industry and sizing software of control valves.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Good communication and presentation skills, Selling and negotiation skills.
Familiar with basic business software applications.
Good knowledge of Inco terms and Commercial terms and conditions.
Good exposure to End-user customers for Primary Demand Creation.
