Responsibilities
- Create and review test cases based on functional specifications and software requirement specifications for embedded systems.
- Execute functionality testing in alignment with the test plan and respective test cases, using Python for automation.
- Contribute to the development of test plans that accurately reflect requirements and scope.
- Track test coverage, defect density, and other relevant metrics, publishing progress reports.
- Coordinate discussions with the testing team and interact with clients to provide updates and resolve issues.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of embedded device testing principles and methodologies.
- Proficient in Python for test automation and script development.
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks relevant to embedded systems.
- Solid knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Quality Assurance best practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients.
Desired Qualifications
- ISTQB Certified Tester or similar software testing certification is optional but valuable.
