Vattenfall is looking for a Senior Development Manager Transport & Installation Engineering to support offshore wind projects in their development stages. Responsibilities
- Lead and drive Transport and Installation concepts across all installation packages as support to Technical Project Managers.
- Create suitable T&I set-up for development projects, including CAPEX budget and documentation.
- Lead building block development and maintenance for future potentials with an automated approach.
- Pro-actively discuss new methodologies with suppliers to facilitate the Vattenfall offshore wind project pipeline.
- Actively drive interfaces of the Transportation & Installation Engineering department towards stakeholders.
- Contribute to a collaborative work environment for swift team member exchange and proactive issue resolution.
- Support Installation Engineers in execution, O&M, or decommissioning projects with expertise on methodologies, lessons learned, and concepts.
- Manage the development of Transport and Installation methodologies and their budgets for offshore projects.
- Provide input to development, technical, and execution strategies for future project pipelines.
Requirements
- Engineering degree.
- Experience in offshore Transport and Installation, preferably multiple disciplines (Foundation, Cables, WTGs, Hydrogen).
- Minimum 10 years relevant work experience.
- Competences preferably gained in highly regulated industries (e.g., offshore, renewables, oil and gas, or chemical industry).
- Experience with offshore wind Transport and Installation methodologies focusing on the transmission scope.
- Experience with execution of Transport and Installation projects for TSOs or similar.
- Strong technical understanding with the ability to resolve detail issues and convey complex technical matters and risk costing coherently.
- A positive mindset with strong self-motivation and resilience.
- A flexible and proactive approach to find solutions.
- Comfortable managing several tasks simultaneously to often challenging deadlines.

Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge about offshore installation vessels, installation tools and methodologies and relevant offshore codes and standards is of advantage.
- Experience at an offshore Installation Contractor is highly appreciated.
- Experience in Substation and Cable Installation projects with strong focus on technology is a key asset for this position.
