Seeking a Senior Design Lead with 7-10 years of experience in Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Design to join a team in Bangalore, India. This role involves working on various analog blocks, debugging, and supporting sign-off activities.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with architecture, layout, verification, and system teams to deliver high-quality, silicon-proven designs.
- Design operational amplifiers, comparators, bandgap references, LDO regulators, oscillators, PLL support circuits, charge pumps, and ADC/DAC sub-blocks.
- Support mixed-signal co-simulation with digital RTL environments.
- Debug simulation and convergence issues, identify root causes of failures, and perform design iterations.
- Support sign-off activities including reliability and electrical checks.
- Leverage design expertise to ensure software and products exhibit user-friendliness, intuitiveness, and alignment with user expectations.
- Lead a team of designers, provide guidance, and ensure delivery of high-quality design solutions.
- Present design concepts and shape the overall design vision and strategy.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of relevant industry experience in Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Design.
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in one or more of the following technologies is preferred: 180nm, 130nm, 90nm, 40nm.
- Basic programming or scripting skills in one of SKILL / SHELL / PERL / TCL highly preferred.
- Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, HSPICE / PrimeSim, ADE XL / Explorer / Assembler.
- Experience with Calibre is desired.
