Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end product development, including requirements gathering, concept design, detailed engineering, prototype integration, validation, and testing.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional electrical engineering teams on PDU Enclosure Design.
Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation.
Manage Engineering Change Request (ECR) and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.
Mentor and guide engineers to achieve project objectives.

Requirements

Strong experience in Mechanical Design Engineering with hands-on expertise in product design and development.
Proficient in Sheet Metal Design, including design optimization for manufacturability, cost reduction, and production efficiency.
Experienced in Power Distribution Unit (PDU) Enclosure Design.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including sheet metal fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly techniques.
Hands-on experience with Windchill and other Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and design for manufacturing principles.
Experienced in Engineering Change Request (ECR) and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering challenges.
Coordinate cross-functional activities and make sound technical decisions.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
