Saab is seeking a Senior Data & AI Platform Engineer in Solna, Sweden, to design, develop, and enhance modern Data & AI platforms. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance cloud-native Data & AI platforms.
Develop platform functionality and work with Kubernetes and Kubernetes Operators.
Implement, deploy, and troubleshoot solutions in complex technical environments.
Work with automation, GitOps, CI/CD, and observability.
Contribute technical expertise, knowledge sharing, and the continuous improvement of team practices.
Explore how emerging AI technologies and tools can be utilized and integrated into our platforms.

Requirements

Solid experience in software engineering and platform development.
Strong technical interest and ability to solve complex challenges.
Experience in Golang or other programming languages for systems-level development.
Experience with Kubernetes, Kubernetes Operators, and containerized environments.
Experience with cloud-native platforms, DevOps, GitOps, and CI/CD practices.
Experience with Linux and automation using tools such as Python or Shell scripting.
Experience with data-intensive environments and the deployment/management of AI models.
University degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Ability to pass a security vetting.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in AI-assisted software development or agent-based AI.
Experience with Large Language Model (LLM) technologies, including prompting and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
Experience in test automation.
Experience in security testing.
