In short

We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester for our Chennai, Tamil Nadu location. The role involves SIT methodology, API automation using tools like RestAssured, Postman, or SoapUI, and CI/CD pipeline configuration with Harness and Git. Experience with SAP GUI scripting is also beneficial.

Responsibilities

SIT methodology and cross-system integration testing (e.g. lifecycle → lending → settlement chains).
Test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle in ALM Octane.
Ability to validate real TRBK transactions, batch jobs (STBASETT, ZBS_SC1_SETTLE_RUN_PP) and multi-system interface outcomes — not just screen-level checks.
GUI automation using UFT / Playwright / Selenium, VBScript, data-driven/keyword-driven frameworks; understanding of transaction recording and object handling.
API automation using REST/SOAP with RestAssured, Postman, or SoapUI.
CI/CD pipeline configuration (Harness), Git version control, and orchestration of overnight/scheduled regression runs.
Familiarity with SAP GUI scripting; exposure to Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, or SAP CBTA/eCATT is valuable.
Scripting in Java / Python / JavaScript for framework extension and utilities.
