Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and ensure quality of systems stack, related tools, and SDK integration with Azure.
- Apply strong engineering principles for defining robust and maintainable architectures and designs.
- Collaborate broadly across multiple disciplines from hardware designers to ML developers.
- Help establish and drive the adoption of good coding standards and patterns.
- Perform software development in C/C++, C#, Python, and other languages.
- Identify requirements, scope solutions, estimate work, and schedule deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C++, C, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of computer architecture and/or embedded programming is essential.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience with C#/Java
- A strong technical background and solid foundation in software engineering principles and architecture design
- Experience in building highly available highly scalable microservice architecture
- Experience in working with orchestration platforms like K8 and Service Fabric
- Ability to work independently and successfully deliver on KPIs
- Great cross-team collaboration skills and the desire to collaborate in a team of researchers and developers
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
Benefits
- The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year for IC5, and USD $165,600 - $296,400 per year for IC6.
- Different ranges apply to specific work locations, including the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
